| Food Items that you add to NutriBase are called Personal Food Items (PFI's). You can use these PFI's in your recipes, in your nutrient intakes, in your Meal Plans. Click the Create Button to create a new PFI "from scratch" by entering in its nutrient information from the food label. (You can enter Percent Daily Values if you wish... NutriBase will convert the %DV's into actual values for you.) Edit an existing food item in the database to create a new PFI. Create a new PFI by starting with an existing PFI and modifying it. Add a "submitted by" by-line to any PFI. Organize PFI's by copying them into other PFI notebook tabs. Create, delete, or rename notebook tabs as desired. Record any PFI as a nutrient intake item. Auto-record any PFI. Record any PFI into a Meal Plan. Export a PFI into a file that can be shared with other NutriBase users. Import PFI's file created by other NutriBase users. Edit, format, and/or print the relevant PFI information. |
