Ranking Data

| A ranking is a method of sorting your data from high-to-low or from low-to-high based on any nutrient or variable. Select the food category and the subcategories you wish to include in your ranking, then click on the Rank Icon. Select a nutrient or variable. Select whether you wish to sort the food items from high-to-low or from high-to-low based on their value for the selected nutrient or variable. Click the OK Button. When the search results are displayed to the screen, you will see the data in the spreadsheet view. Note that the first nutrient column is the one you selected to rank. Note also that the food items are sorted by their value for the selected variable in either ascending or descending order as you specified.
Once you display the results of your search to the screen, you can view the nutrient data in a spreadsheet view, view the nutrient data in a split-screen view, view the nutrient data in a single-screen view, record a selected food item to the current user's intake record, add a selected food item a recipe, add a selected food item to the Personal Food Item list, view all of the nutrient data for the selected food item, view all of the nutrient and non-nutrient data contained in NutriBase for the selected food item, jump to the first occurrence of a particular food name or brand name, export selected data to an ASCII file, print selected data, close the screen to move on to other activities, or access help regarding this screen. |
